Flood!

Ugh...I woke up to a really bad storm this morning about 5:00 a.m. Every year I forget how bad the storms here get. My power went out. I looked at the clock right before it happened. We were under another tornado watch. Luckily, I have a basement apartment so I'm not too worried about tornados. Unluckily, I have a basement apartment, so we flooded. That's the second time it's happened. The baseboards are looking terrible. I bought a steamcleaner when Sabastion was sick (he's got diabetes and was really ill for a few months) and I use that to suck up all the water. It doesn't look as bad as the first time. When I went outside to get into my car this morning I noticed that the ground is saturated and there's standing water just outside my windows. Justin said he'd clean up the water in the bedroom, but I'm guessing I'll have more to clean up when I get home tonight. And 7 loads of laundry. Ugh, I shouldn't let it pile up like that. It would help if Justin would take his uniforms to work to get laundered like he's supposed to, but he says they don't clean them very well.

Yikes! I just remembered that I put my guitar on the floor! I hope the water hasn't reached it!

Dustin Hoffman rocks

I watched The Graduate for the first time last night. What a great movie. Good plot, good acting, good ending. Add a Lil Jim's Bull Pen pizza and a two litre of Mug rootbeer...it was a good night despite the severe thunder storms.
