Apparently I have a vintage Herman Miller office chair in my cubicle. Marcy's been saying for years that we could make a load of money on ebay for it. I didn't believe her. I guess she was right. Anyone want to buy a vintage Herman Miller chair in blue?

I don't know. I watched a training video for Cendent Corp. and it said that taking items from work was bad for integrity. Even if it's for a good cause. And then there was a catchy tune about integrity.

heheh...I wouldn't be the one selling it. :D

I did some looking on eBay and it turns out that many people are asking upwards of $80 for my chair. They're not getting any bids, but they're asking. There was an orange one for sale that started the bidding at $9.99 and they got three bids. They're now up to $10.50. I now feel better about speaking out so vocally that my ugly chair was damn near worthless.

eBay is always on the cheap. You might get a better offer from a used office furniture place that knew what they were looking at. I do understand they're supposed to be worth *something*.
Try some searches on the Herman Miller name itself, you might pick up some collector's sites that might be worth a look.
