I just got back to work from my Modern Latin America class and when I shrugged off my backpack, I heard a sound like separating Velcro, so I turned my head and pulled on my shirt to see if I had something stuck to it and noticed that a large tear had opened up over my left shoulder blade. Reeeally hoping that's brand new or I'm totally humiliated.

My mom used to do the same. I'll make rags out of old towels and wash cloths (I gave away the cloth diapers I had), but usually not out of old clothes. I remember my mom made rags out of a nylon nightgown I'd outgrown. Worst rags ever! They wouldn't absorb any water! LOL

Oh, man, the AC! I freeze! It'll be 85 degrees outside and I'm sitting inside wearing a sweater and sitting in front of a small, electric heater. The waste of electricity bothers me so much!

I'm glad to hear you found something to help the acid reflux. That stuff hurts!!!

I haven't been on LJ or DW much lately. The IT department blocked them both until recently, but I've been trying to keep my at-work usage of the sites at a minimum in order to keep them open in the future.

Summer has been sailing by. I can't believe it's almost over! Aside from the two classes I've taken this summer, I haven't really done anything noteworthy. But things are good! :D

LOL, ugh, nylon does NOT make a good rag! It's funny, we had some cotton rags--don't know what they were made out of--that were also not good rags at all.

I can't help but think it's better than 85 inside! Sometimes places do have a bit of overkill with the AC--it's hard to figure it out for large spaces especially.

Me too, and yes, it definitely did. I was surprised by how the pain was all around my torso.

Oh, bummer they both got blocked. Glad you're able to get on a bit again. :)

I know, mine too! I feel like I missed half of it and we go back in less than two weeks. Glad things are going well. :) Are your classes looking okay for fall?
