Some days just weren't made for waking up.

I am really, truly exhausted. At least, that's what my body's trying to tell me.

I had a dream that I was in a park with some friends, mourning the death of a woman we all knew, but something didn't seem right. After a while I realized that the problem was that in real life the woman was still alive and her husband, the man who was sitting across from me, was actually dead. So I started panicking and trying to wake up because I knew it was a dream. I was yelling and pinching myself and I felt all of it, but couldn't wake up.

Eventually, I woke up at a friend's house. A bunch of us were sleeping on the floor. I was so relieved to be awake. Then I got into an argument with the friend's sister, but I can't remember what it was about.

Then I woke up in my bed and found out I'd slept through my alarm and had to leave for work in 10 minutes.

I had dream within a dream about not wanting to get up while my alarm played in the background. I should have called off work today. I'm on Cup of Tea #2. I expect there will be quite a bit more in my future.

Eep! I hate mornings like that, where your dreams just overlap into one another and you can't shake yourself into the real world.

I overslept by over an hour today, hitting snooze and clonking out hard again. But I'm still recovering from Bumbershoot and then yesterday's aftershock migraine.

Sorry for the unpleasant dreams. The worst I dreamed was that the cat had thrown up on the bed and that was why she was yelling so much. She hadn't. She just yells a lot.

I bet you had a good five or six more cups of tea mate. Wow, dream within a dream I've only had once or twice in my life, but I remember some dream analysis and it seems to mean that you want some protection from something that you're worried about, it's like a buffer. Handy!

Sorry enough of me being flippant... I really know what you mean, stupid dreams can really screw up your day. I hope they got better and you DID get more tea!

A dream within a dream now that is something I have never experienced, I really don't think I would want to.

I hope your day was okay even with you being tired. Try to get some good sleep tonight and happy undreams to you.

Ugh, I hate waking yourself up on purpose only to end up in another dream- it feels like your mind is being stubborn just to spite you.

I hope your day at work wasn't too tiring?
