Dreamwidth for Livejournal Users
Dec. 22nd, 2011 10:56 amI noticed that several of my LJ friends created new Dreamwidth accounts today as well. Just in case you haven't had much of a chance to explore yet, here's a link you might find handy: Dreamwidth for Livejournal Users.
So far, I'm incredibly impressed with Dreamwidth. The only difficulty I'm having is the abbreviation "DW," which I automatically read as "Doctor Who."
I've got this account set up to crosspost to my LJ, however, this post itself will not appear over there (as long as I did this right, anyway). I excluded most of my RL friends (a few who know about and support my fandom activities were included) and everyone I met in the They Might Be Giants fandom back in 1997 since I've got all of them friended on Facebook.
I hope to be able to post any fic I write in this space along with the updates you're already accustomed to seeing. I will probably get too personal and overshare, but that's just my personality. I can't help it.
