Oct. 25th, 2004 01:21 pmDear GOP,
I was appalled when I saw on CNN the end of a rally in which former First Lady Barbara Bush and Congresswoman (former Secretary of State) Katherine Harris greeted voters in Florida during which time the speaker reminded everyone to "vote early and often". Firstly, it looks bad to have Congresswoman Harris be part of your rally because of her role in the 2000 election debacle. Secondly, "vote early and often" is a phrase that originated from former Chicago Mayor William Hale Thompson who was known best for corruption and manipulation of the democratic process. It would probably be in your best interest to discontinue the use of that phrase.
Then again, maybe this is all part of your plan.
Regards,
Annissa
