Obligatory Reagan & Potter post
Jun. 7th, 2004 08:45 amI saw Harry Potter on Saturday. I was disappointed. Perhaps it was all the hype. I was expecting the best Harry Potter movie to date and I don't think that The Prisoner of Azkaban delivered. What we got was the skeleton of a wonderful story. If it had nothing to do with the main plot line, it was deleted from the movie. Every nuance was removed. I left the theatre like I leave a restaurant where all I've eaten is a salad. Somewhat full, but unsatisfied.
I heard Reagan died. And for that reason, no news was watched this weekend.

Which also would have helped lend credence as to why she was so mean to Ron about Scabbers and Crookshank. And the Big Black Dog and Crookshanks relationship was also missing.
I think you hit the hammer on the nail with the salad analogy. The frames were full and the plot moved fast but there was still more detail that could have been added and I wouldn't have minded sitting in the theatre for another 20 minutes to have let it all be there.
BTW, I love the puppet Angel icon. :)
