I stopped Acathla!

Funny episode.

However, Justin and I went to dinner and then I dillydallied at Borders so I missed the first 10 minutes. Why were they in Rome and what's with The Immortal? Every time they said, "The Immortal" I was reminded of an episode of the live version of The Tick.

They were sent to Rome in order to get the Cappo de Familia's head so that the demon clan could perform their spells to resurrect him. The Cappo was human friendly so WR&H wanted to keep him alive. They had a time limit in which to return the head.

The Immortal once imprisoned Angelus and William the Bloody back in 1894 and then had a nice romp with Drusilla and Darla. Hence their utter hatred for him.
