Tomorrow we begin our 3-day ESOP Communications Committee meeting. I'm really not looking forward to this. The work was enjoyable two years ago when this committee was first formed, but now everything is a fight and I just don't have it in me anymore. If I could find a way to bend like the reed and let it wash over me, I would. But in this case, I have to take responsibility for everything that everyone else does (or doesn't do which is more often the case). 9 people, two of them know what they're doing, 4 of them are brand new and haven't got a clue, 1 is trying to learn and might one day be really good, 1 has his own agenda and is trying to do stuff completely unrelated to our ultimate goal and 1 is trying to help him.

I usually have a sense of humor at these meetings, but not this time. They think I'm a bitch over email? They ain't seen nothing yet.
