About Me Meme

This seems to be hitting the ol' f-list pretty hard lately, and since I've got a few new friends, I thought I'd give it a shot.
About me: I'm 33 years old, American, originally from Southeastern Washington State, currently living in Ohio. I'm married and have one son. I have no desire for more children, but that should not reflect badly on the one I've got. Being a mom turned out to be much different than I expected and I'm not sure I'm cut out for more. I work full time in an office for a company in the forestry industry. I also go to school part-time. I'm majoring in History and minoring in Business, but I'm considering swapping my major and minor.
In real life, my favorite thing to do is: Play the piano. Sadly, I don't currently have a piano to play. During the school year, I have very little free time. When I'm not in school, I fill my time with various hobbies that change from time to time. Right now, I like baking bread. I also enjoy playing video games, cooking, swimming, and hiking.
I use my LJ mainly for: Mostly I use my LJ like I would use a regular journal. Sometimes I like to post meta on my favorite t.v. shows. It's been a while since I've done that, though.
My other accounts are: Known only to those who would be interested in them.
My fandom 'contribution': Fic, and not much of it. I'm not a born writer and I don't feel that drive to write all the time. But I like participating in fandom and fic is a good way to do that. Mostly, I read and comment on other people's fic, though it's been a long time since I've read any. Reading fic is one of those things I would really like to start doing again.
My main fandoms are: Doctor Who and Community. Doctor Who is the only one I read fic for, though. Past fandoms include They Might be Giants and Buffy the Vampire Slayer.
It might surprise you that: I am Mormon.
Please don't judge me because: *shrug* Feel free to judge me. I wear my heart on my sleeve, so if there's something about me you don't like, you probably have legitimate reasons.
I get fairly animated about: I don't like character bashing and I will ban people from my journal if they engage in it, even if that author never has a reason to visit my journal. I also get irritated when authors split up Ten.2 and Rose to put the half-human Doctor with the alt!version of the author's favorite character. They're welcome to write it (and I don't ban people for it, unless it's character bashing... which it usually is. Huh.), but I won't touch it.
Things I look for in an FLister: All I ask for is kindness and at least one common interest.
