Dreamwidth for Livejournal Users

I noticed that several of my LJ friends created new Dreamwidth accounts today as well. Just in case you haven't had much of a chance to explore yet, here's a link you might find handy: Dreamwidth for Livejournal Users.

So far, I'm incredibly impressed with Dreamwidth. The only difficulty I'm having is the abbreviation "DW," which I automatically read as "Doctor Who."

I've got this account set up to crosspost to my LJ, however, this post itself will not appear over there (as long as I did this right, anyway). I excluded most of my RL friends (a few who know about and support my fandom activities were included) and everyone I met in the They Might Be Giants fandom back in 1997 since I've got all of them friended on Facebook.

I hope to be able to post any fic I write in this space along with the updates you're already accustomed to seeing. I will probably get too personal and overshare, but that's just my personality. I can't help it.

If you were involved in TMBG fandom back in the late 90s, chances are you know my old nick. Some of my quotes still grace the IRC page of tmbg.org.
