At quarter to 5 on Friday I decide to update my journal.

I've switched Sabby's food again and I'm going to switch it again tonight. I'm trying out Wellness canned food hoping it brings his blood sugar back down. Caring for a diabetic cat is not fun, but it's better than the alternative. I took some pictures of him earlier this week and put them up at http://www.geocities.com/broadway/stage/5098/sabby.html. He's watching his Cat Sitter video. He really likes it except the part with the parrot. It scares him a little.

People at work are acting funny around me lately. Like they're walking on eggshells. Several have asked my co-workers if I'm alright. I wonder what they think happened to me.

I'm fine, really, seriously. No, you don't have to do my work for me. Well, OK, here's my filing.

I think that even if I were a cat I would be scared by a bird that was bigger than me... AAAA! Killer beak!

Oooh, pretty kitty!

I can sympathize: We have to buy $40 a bag cat food so that Beany's bladder won't explode :( And since it is impossible to have a separate food dish that Beany can't eat out of, but Mia can, she gets to eat the $40 cat food, too, although she has NO urinary tract problems ;) Sigh. . . That video seems to be enthralling, judging from Sabby's reactions to it in the pics!
