Day 27 - Scene/Moment that made you go 'argh'



So, the Daleks, right? They can't stand other creatures and their whole goal is to wipe out every form of life in the Universe that is not Dalek. Except Dalek Sec gets it into his head that he should recreate the Daleks by injecting human beings with Dalek DNA in order to program their minds to be like Dalek-kind. This doesn't make sense, but go with it.

He decides to be the first to undergo the change to Dalek-Human in order to prove that it can be done.

It's stupid. And gross. And I hate it.

Ok, I don't hate it. But it does make me go "argh."

This and what is it ... Victory of the Daleks. Ungh, that one made me cringe so bad. Not only do we now have 'taste-the-rainbow' Daleks, but Spitfires that can fly in SPACE, an Independence Day like moment and Iwo Jima* imagery

*LEST we forget the battle on Iwo Jima was an AMERICAN THING!!! THE BRITS WEREN'T THERE!!

The whole thing makes me *twitch* violently and I ALMOST turned the DVD off never to watch again.

Yes, because breathable air is the only thing needed to make airplanes work in space. haha!

Daleks and I are over professionally.

I am not sure what to think of the Daleks I just feel that maybe the story arcs with them have go a bit sour. Now I did enjoy the episode "Victory of the Daleks" the space thing was a bit far-fetched but the idea of human resilience spoke to me.
