Day 9 - Least Favorite Episode



I much prefer talking about what I do like rather than what I don’t like. I’ve already written about my least favorite episode here and I don’t really want to talk about it again.

I also don’t care for the “Daleks in Manhattan”/”Evolution of the Daleks” two-parter. Pig monsters, bad accents, and hybrid Daleks just don’t do it for me, apparently. Although, I quite liked the way David Tennant walks on the backs of the theatre seats. That’s probably why “Planet of the Dead” edged out these Series 3 episodes as my least favorite.

You know I do agree with you on this one. I didn't really like it either the whole dance routine just didn't do it for me. I think the funniest part is when the Doctor liked the green goop it made me go Ewwww. I do like your other choice as well that special, IDK just rubbed me wrong.

David Tennant striding across the back of the theatre seats is pretty damn hot, actually! I'd watch the episode just to see that :-)

Thing is - a while back, I caught one of these episodes on the telly. And it had been a few months since I'd watched a Ten episode (I think S5 had either finished or was coming to an end) and it me realise that while this isn't the greatest of stories, at least Ten gave a shit - and he made me give one.

I did love the Doctor's comment when he recognised the Daleks: "They always survive, and I'm left with nothing." *hugs emo Doctor*

Oh, that was a good line. DT has a good pout on him, too.

I bet I'd find more I liked about it if I rewatched it, but it's firmly in my "do not like" list, so I just can't get motivated.

Maybe another IRC rewatch is in order? :)
