I was driving to pick up Dominic after class tonight when I had a sudden feeling of disorientation, almost to the point of vertigo. I realized a few seconds later that it was because the clouds on the horizon combined with the light of the setting sun looked exactly like the cascade mountains when seen from a distance. I could have been driving on I-90 outside of Moses Lake and it would have looked identical.

I put Dominic to bed a little bit ago. He started shouting, "Man down! Man down!" then he stuck out his tongue and played dead. Where does he get this stuff?

I ask the same thing when my son holds up the feather duster and says that there are bullets coming out of it. I think it is my hubby's fault with all the war documenteries that he watches

Seriously, what is it about little boys and guns? Well, little kids is probably more accurate. I remember hammering two pieces of wood together to form a gun when I was about 5. Later, I would hammer nails partially into the "barrel" of the gun to simulate bullets leaving the gun.

I am not sure but my son can make a gun out of anything sometimes it is a stick and other times it is a crayon. I use to pretend I was on of Charlie's Angels when I was younger and I used my fingers. There is no escaping it except just teach them not to point it at anyone

True. Now if only I could get him to stop swinging sticks around like swords. :)

My son hasn't gotten to that stage yet he is only three but I am dreading it when it comes.

Right now, Dominic wants to be a Power Ranger more than anything in the world. It shows in his play.
