They Might Be Giants: Here Come the 1, 2, 3's has been featured on the Disney Channel for a couple months. Dominic has slowly been learning the songs and seemed to enjoy them so I picked up the combo CD/DVD for him. The most common thing he says now is, "I need my Giants!"
I think that the CD is actually helping him with his numbers and he really, really loves the songs. Last night he was singing the opening song in his crib (much like the opening to Flood it's very, very short). It sounds like, "He Giant ears, 1, 2, 3. 1! 2! 3!" He begs me to sing the "Soup Song" (Nine Bowls of Soup) all the way home, but he wants me to change the words so the "nine bowls of soup are balanced on the end of a rake on Dominic's head." And usually he provides the "Woah! Woooah! Wooooaoaaaah!" which is all great fun.
This morning he crawled into my lap and said, "I'm two!"
I said, "You *are* two! That's very good!"
He said, "Mommy's two!"
I said, "Mommy's a lot older than two. Mommy is 29."
He said, "Daddy's nine."
