Saturday with the boy
Aug. 21st, 2010 07:58 pmI was trying to write this morning, but the soundtrack of Spongebob Squarepants, Raving Rabbids, and "Let's go somewhere fun, Mommy!" just wasn't conducive to creating a romantic atmosphere in my story.
I took Dominic up to get a haircut (one of his favorite activities) and we explored Wildbirds Unlimited while we waited for Dominic's turn in the chair.
After his haircut, I took him to the Cuyahoga Falls Riverfront to go to Metropolis Popcorn. The store hours on their website do not match the hours the store is actually open, so we took a nice walk on the river while we waited for the store to open.

We got to try several of the flavors at the popcorn store and decided on Tutti Fruity (a mix of several fruit-flavored candy popcorns) and peanut butter cup (caramel corn with bits of Reese's peanut butter cups melted into it).
Now Dominic's in bed and Justin's home and I'm hoping to make more headway with the writing. I really had a nice time with Dominic, though.
