Tour de Washington 2009
Jan. 30th, 2009 08:06 amI'm beginning to make an outline for my itinerary for my trip to Washington in March. So far I have the following. Tickets aren't purchased yet, but as soon as this becomes more concrete, I'll buy them (they're cheap right now! Yay!).
March 6: Fly to Seattle, stay the night with Afton. If I can fly in early enough, I might drive directly to Spokane.
March 7: Drive to Spokane, attend mom's 60th birthday party.
March 8-9: Hang with family.
March 10 - 15: Unplanned
March 15 or 16: Fly to Cleveland
That's a lot of days free, so I'm looking to get a reunion of sorts together and I'm looking for all my old friends to join me.
We can do this a couple of ways. We can either all meet up in Seattle or we can all meet up in the Valley. OR I can party with the Valley people on the 10th or 11th and the Seattle people on the 14th or 15th.
Lastly, I'm toying with the idea of hunting down Ken at Crystal Mountain (this could lead to disappointment, so I'm not entirely sold on the idea) and also visiting Forks and La Push. If either side trip is something you're interested in, let me know because I have room for 2 (3 if we squeeze and have no luggage) more in whatever rental vehicle I'll get. If I go to Forks, it will likely be an overnight thing and you have to put up with me being a silly fangirl of a poorly written series of books. But the scenery should be pretty.
Ideas? Suggestions? Lodging?
