Apr. 9th, 2004 03:19 pmI decided to run errands today at lunch instead of working through my lunch hour like I should have. But Sabby's got a URI and needs medication for it, so I ran over to the vet to get it. Since the petshop is just up the street I stopped there too for some more cat food. For the most part, I really like that particular shop, but it's getting harder and harder to get help there. If they'd put the flats of food somewhere I could reach it, I would happily get it myself. I'm not going to pull 48 loose cans of food off the shelf.
I'd like to find a good butcher in the area, so I looked it up in the yellow pages. There's only one. And it's right next to the pet store. If I'd known that I would've gotten the food after work... Ah well. I really just want to find a good place to buy fresh fish. Supermarket butchers just aren't cutting it in the seafood department. Um...no pun intended.
In other news, Ed's wife is pregnant with quadruplets. They've been trying to get pregnant for years. I'm not even sure how many fertility treatments they've had. Poor Lena has miscarried every time. The doctors say that there's a 15% chance she could lose one of the babies. So here's hoping for the best!
