Oct. 6th, 2003 10:37 amI had a nice weekend. I spent most of Saturday looking for stuff I couldn't find. There are boxes everywhere. But I wasn't too bothered by it. I made nice marinated steaks for dinner. On Sunday, I threw a pork roast into the crockpot with some garlic, salt, black pepper, cayenne pepper, and a bottle of barbecue sauce and let that cook all day. I got a call from Stauche and Cry when they hit Columbus so I started making the cobbler about then. When they got here they sat for about 10 minutes, then I pulled the cobbler out of the oven and pulled the roast apart. So we sat down to barbecued pulled pork sandwiches with colby cheese and raspberry cobbler with vanilla ice cream for dessert. You'd think I liked them or something. :)
It was a very nice visit. I finally showed Crystal my wedding dress. It doesn't fit right now. I really need to work on that. And I told Stauche about this animated gif I saw that made me laugh so hard I cried and got a migraine. Just telling him about it made him laugh hysterically. It's nice to know that I wasn't the only person who found it that funny.
