...so tired.
Oct. 7th, 2003 07:00 pmWe're going into hour twelve of the workday. I'm supposed to design a display and brochure for an upcoming conference where we will be presenting with two other companies. One of the other companies didn't get their pictures to me until yesterday. I suppose that would've been OK, except that the display and brochures had to go to the printer yesterday. But I have an idea in my head of what I want to do so it shouldn't take me too long. Unfortunately, Ed wanted me to work on his business plan and that took until 4:00 this afternoon and then I had to make an inventory sale. It was an easy sale, but it still took up the remainder of a normal workday. Also, I'm supposed to be organizing people to go to an ESOP conference on Thursday. I'm not going, but I have to organize it anyway. It's like herding cats, I swear. So now I'm about halfway done with the display and I haven't even started on the brochure, it's 7:00 and I'm tired. It's times like these that I'm thankful I'm not salaried. When you're an hourly employee, at least you get time and a half for overtime.
I watched "The Big Lebowski" last night, hence the song.
