Jul. 29th, 2003 08:15 amThere was a note on my kitchen counter last night that said the maintenance people had come by to clean up the water in my bedroom, but the carpet is still sopping wet. I notice that we now have black mold growing on the wall and between the wall and baseboards in the bedroom and in the kitchen. Lovely. I meant to take the digital camera home last night and get photographs, but I forgot, so I'll try to get it today.
It's only 54 degrees today. In July. That's not right. I had to wear a jacket. Luckily, I love my jacket and have been looking for an excuse to wear it. It's red suede. :)
I'm thinking of calling the maintenance people and telling them about everything wrong in my apartment and having them fix it all. The rocking toilet, the broken bathtub drain, the broken window latch, and the broken drawer in the kitchen. 48 more days till we move.
Justin and I ordered out from Lil Jim's All-Star Pizzeria last night. I love their food so much. So last night I tried their baked chicken. It was excellent! And they serve it with these spicey potato wedges. Man, was it good. Justin got the Jim Skins. That's potato wedges baked in a ton of cheese and topped with crumbled bacon. Mmmm...a heart attack in a little metal tray. To be fair, though, he had a grilled chicken salad to go with it. So it wasn't totally unhealthful.
I brought all of my shredding to work and I'm trying to slyly put it into the shredder box without anyone noticing. There's a whole lot of it and they may not appreciate me filling up the box. Hmmm...I hope no one here knows about livejournal...
