When I was a sophomore in high school I played a part in a play in which I carried a long trumpet called a buisine. Our director was very clear that I was not to let anything happen to that trumpet. I did manage to bang it pretty good against the edge of I don't remember what and put a sizable dent in it, but otherwise it came through the show just fine. So a couple months later I was aghast when I saw it in the basement of the A Building in several pieces. Someone had actually taken the trouble to bend the metal over and over again until it broke into tiny pieces. I still feel sick about it. So I thought it was time to look into replacing Torg's buisine. And do you know that I cannot find one online. Like, at all. Do any of you know where to find a buisine? For a reasonable price?

Justin says I should learn to let things like that go. But Torg had always been so good to me. I hate to see him get the shaft like that. And even though I didn't break it, I still feel responsible.

I also had a story about Chris, his son, but I'm kind of tired to tell it. But I just want to say that Chris will always be a good guy in my mind, no matter how many stupid things he did or may, in fact, still be doing. I saw what was truly in his heart. Torg would be proud.

I guess I'm reminiscing because I heard from Leca today. It's been about 12 years since I've seen her.

I've remained in contact with Leca since High School. She was living in Florida for a while a few years ago and i spent 2 weeks visiting her in the Ft. Lauderdale area. It was tons of fun! I have yet to visit Brasil, but it is on my list of places to go.
