Mother's Day

So I had Dominic sitting next to me while I folded laundry this afternoon. He was getting fussy because I wasn't paying him much attention, so I pulled his crib sheet out of the laundry and flung it over his face. Then I pulled it down so he could see me and said, "Peekaboo!" He laughed and I went back to folding. When I looked back at him, he had pulled the sheet back up over his eyes, then he pulled it down so he could peer at me. When I looked at him, he pulled it back up. He was playing peekaboo! He initiated a game of peekaboo with me! On mother's day! How cool is that?! We played for 20 minutes laughing the whole time. He is so awesome!

Happy belated Mother's Day to you, Annissa! I kind of have trouble with remembering the American dates for certain special days, because although they have Mother's Day here too it's on a different date. Anyway - it's nice to hear that you and Dominic are having fun together. And guess what? It only gets more fun!!
