Justin and I took Tena up to Lorain again this weekend. We headed to the mall to wait out the perm and had a most unpleasant experience in the petshop. I don't like petshops, but I tend to go into them anyway to look at the fish. I thought this one might be better than most because right in their front window they had an enormous tortoise in a gorgeous, well-kept aquarium. Just inside the store they had an alligator in another huge aquarium. But as we walked further into the store, things got more disturbing. Puppies in a cage in the middle of the main thoroughfare, shivering with no bedding or heat source, deformed ears on other dogs, algae-coated fish tanks, a lump of rot that used to be a lion fish, and a turtle dead so long it's eyes had fogged over and there was algae growing on its skin in a tank with another live turtle.

I'm considering getting either a Pontiac Vibe or a Toyota Matrix. Any thoughts or comments?

oh that petshop story is very disturbing. are they usually that way?

I visit Midway mall only 1 or 2 times every year because Lorain is a fairly long distance from where I live. I don't think that petshop was there last time I visited that mall.
