Friday and Saturday I got two calls from Sarah Jessica Parker, one call from former President Bill Clinton, and one call from a lady at the Ohio democratic party all asking me to vote tomorrow. The lady from the Ohio democratic party also said that if I needed a ride, to call her and she'd make sure I got to the polls. I feel so wanted. :)
Sunday I spent hours cleaning my house. I started with the fish tanks then moved on to the bathrooms. When they were finished, I cleaned the guest room (the cock pit), then cleaned the living/dining room. I'm thinking of starting on the bedroom today. The kitchen is Justin's job. And you can tell. It's disgusting. I refuse to cook in there until it's cleaned up. I stepped out for a little while last night and when I came back the kitchen sink was cleaned out and the stoneware part of the crock pot was missing. I asked, "Did you clean the crock pot or did you throw it away?" He wouldn't answer my question. I know he threw it away, and frankly, I probably would've thrown it away too. It's gotten pretty old and beat up and we have a nice new one coming whenever my sister ships the rest of my wedding gifts to me. I warned him that he'd better not let it get to that state again. I'm not mad. It kind of sounds like I am, but I'm not.
I'm still working down in the warehouse. I got pictures of what I'm doing so you get an idea of the magnitude of this project. I also got a few pictures of my new hairstyle. I'll post them when Kevin gets them downloaded off his computer.
I went to Target at lunch today and bought about 8 pounds of marked-down halloween candy. I got Rollos, Hershey Kisses with caramel, Inside Out Reese's Peanut Butter Cups, Almond Joys, York Peppermint Patties, peanut M&Ms, and two huge mix bags of fun size candy bars like Snickers, Three Musketeers, and Milky Way. I also picked up Keane's debut album Hopes and Fears. It's a little more subdued than I normally like, but I'm a sucker for a piano in a rock band. Plus, it was only $8.

Date: 2004-11-01 08:27 pm (UTC)I acutally asked a bunch of my co-workers if they had a spare crock-pot box to put your present in. But no one did.

Date: 2004-11-01 08:40 pm (UTC)That was a good little crock pot, too. I'm slightly annoyed that Justin threw out the stoneware to it. He needs to throw away the base as well. It's useless without the stoneware. The first meal I ever cooked for Justin was cooked in that crockpot. Ah, nostalgia.
