I think I think about Buffy too much. Lately, I've been thinking about Willow's significant others and how much I like (or dislike) them. I really like Oz. One of my favorite things about Season 2 is seeing Oz run into Willow over and over and always say, "Who *is* that girl?" That whole relationship is so sweet. But I don't understand his van. Do you ever notice how much it changes? The first time we see it it has zebra stripes on the outside and the steering wheel is on the right-hand side of the vehicle. Then the next time we see it it's green and the driver's side is on the left. I wonder why they did that. I'm assuming it wasn't a mistake, but I don't have the DVDs. Is there any commentary on that?

Then there's Tara. I like Tara. Not as much as I like Oz, but she certainly grows on you. I understand the fans really hated Tara when she was first introduced as Willow's love interest. Even to the point where they were calling the actress who played her fat. Amber Benson seems so nice.

And lastly there's Kennedy. Ugh. That is all.

I'm actually just feeling kind of bored because all I have to do today is type in names and addresses for a mailing. But I've been putting it off for a couple months, so another day won't hurt. So if you have anything you'd like to say about Willow's girlfriends/boyfriend, please comment away. Or about anything else your little heart desires.

I'm mostly in agreement with you. I think Oz is cool. The personality they came up with was great. I especially liked how he was able to be very deep-thinking without being wordy. I think that bit of him got summed up during the costume party where Willow went as Jean d'Arc and Oz went as God.

But I like Tara more. I liked the growth of her character, as her movements and speech show her as shy person trying to tell the world that she matters. The very slight stutter and eyes that would immediatly dart downwards made me want to grab her and scream at the rest of the world to stop picking on her. I thought it particularly nice in the episode where Oz showed up again, mostly cured, and Tara suddenly dropped back into her previous self. At that point, I'd not realized how far she'd come along. I was very very very sad when Tara died, but I realized that only her death, not even that of Buffy or Xander, could have pushed her that far over the edge. As another note not really of her character, but others' feelings toward her, I almost cried when, after Tara died, Dawn huddled in the corner of that bedroom for hours, just because she didn't think Tara should be alone.

I didn't like Kennedy.

I don't know anyone who likes Kennedy. I think of her as a rebound girlfriend. Even though I know the show is over I want to hear that Kennedy and Willow break up because Willow realized that she was better off with out Kennedy.
