It's strange. I'm busy at work, but when I remember I don't have class in the evenings, I feel the strangest sense of boredom. Like, "Ugh... what am I going to do now." I need a list!

Things I hope to accomplish in the next 90 days:
  • Clean my house. And I mean top to bottom, clean out the closets, and shovel out the basement. It is time to streamline! It is time to get rid of the boxes I didn't unpack when I moved into my house nearly six years ago!

  • Play FFXI. Hopefully get my BLM to level... whatever the new level cap is right now.

  • Collaborate with [livejournal.com profile] flydye8 on a DW fic. I'm terrible at brainstorming, but I'm trying to do that now. I will send a multitude of terrible ideas to you soon, fly!

  • Go home for a visit. This is becoming more difficult than I had anticipated. Firstly, airplane ticket prices have skyrocketed and all of the direct flights have been canceled. Secondly, I was considering flying directly to Spokane because it turns out we won't have many people to visit in Seattle this time around, and rental car prices around the Seattle airport are outrageous (I will literally outraged). Thirdly, my sis is moving to Seattle, so I won't have a place to stay on the East side of the state. So I'm not quite sure how this is going to work.

  • Most importantly, spend quantity time with Dominic. It doesn't matter what we do, but we should do it together.

There. Now I feel properly intimidated by my work load. That's much better.

lol you are so funny I think the first thing on your list is enough to intimidate anyone. I so need to do the same thing with my house.

The most improtant thing is spending time with your baby boy, even with my classes I am going to try to do alot of that this summer because in the fall my son starts preschool and he will be in class M,W,F

As far as brainstorming now worries we will come up with something brilliant for everyone to read.

Oh can I tack on one more thing to your list I still need a watching buddy for when DW comes on the TV.

Yay, that all sounds like grand fun!! I've done the flying to Seattle picking up a car at the airport and driving East (well, to Moscow ID and Pullman primarily, but also to Spokane) and I did think at the time that it would have been cheaper to go direct to Spokane and get a car there. Annoying about not having anyone to stay with on the east side, but at least it's relatively cheap to go to a hotel in the Spokane area.

Fantastic about getting to spend more time with Dominic! That does sound fun!

Yay on the fic with two of my favourite writers!

Oooh housecleaning and not even as a procrastination technique... I'm totally impressed!

It all sounds like a grand 90 days!!!

Yes, I spent four weeks in Moscow doing a research study back in 2004 - but I also went back there in 2006 (though it was my last time there). I actually stayed in Lewiston, would you believe. You might know that Moscow has that Jazz Festival every year, and although I was there in (I feel like it was February), I stupidly didn't think too far ahead with it and couldn't get into my preferred Moscow hotel cos everything was overbooked, so I just drove up each day from Lewiston. I also spoke to four people from a tribe that had its town headquarters in Lewiston (not Nez Perce, but just trying to remember who... whoops!). Well, you already know that Lewiston is really super cheap for hotels. I still have really, really good friends who live in Pullman/Moscow (all associated with UI and WSU of course), and love that whole area. I LOVE the Moscow Food Co-op and a friend of mine was the baker for it (baked the cakes, wait... are they called bakers?).

You DO need to come to Australia!!!!!!!

I make a huge list like that every summer and then I beat myself up for only completing half of it. House cleaning is on my list for the summer as well. So is adoption paper work and studying for the GRE. I hope you are more successful with your list then I normally am with mine.
