My problem with Amy is that there's no journey there. It's a problem that Martha had as well, except in Martha's case there was just nowhere for her to improve. She started out too good. It's not that I don't like Martha, it's just that I find her less compelling than other characters.

Amy, on the other hand, could be amazing. She has so many awesome qualities and is starting from a really good place. But for some reason, she's not being developed.

I think Rory was the best part of S5 and I loved every episode he was in more than I liked the ones in which he didn't appear. Rory got to develop.

I'm hoping that Amy gets her turn in S6.
