Fidelity - Melody - Quantity

I've seen this video so many times, but not for years. Back in the late 90s, someone in the TMBG fandom was selling a two-VHS set of televised TMBG footage (stuff from music videos to appearances on "120 Minutes" and "Viva Variety." I shelled out the $5 and got the videos in the mail shortly after. I have no idea where the tapes are today. Probably with that school project some kid made about his trip to see TMBG in Lawrence, KS. That was a good video, even though the guy was told to turn off his video camera half-way through the show so the last half is footage of people's feet, which is only entertaining when the audience forms a conga line.

Political Speeches

I need to do a two-page analysis on a historical American speech for US Politics. We haven't discussed speeches yet and I'd like to get a jump on this. Do any of you have any favorite speeches you'd recommend for a short paper? I'll go with Washington's farewell address is nothing else. I've heard that, as a History major, I need to have it practically memorized.

Thanks!

The Death and Return of Superman

I stumbled across this video at Nerdist.com today. You may find its point relevant to your interests because even though it is about Superman, it's also about the importance of death in storytelling and how fake-outs ultimately cheapen - and even destroy - your story.
