Frackin' Credit Card Companies

I transfered a large sum of money to a new credit card to take advantage of a 6 month 0% interest rate. I made my second payment to this card on the 11th of April by calling my bank and making the payment over the phone (my checking and savings accounts are with the same bank that issued the credit card and making payments by phone had not been an issue in the past). I found out yesterday that the man I spoke to at the bank never actually made the payment and I got charged $120 in late fees and finance charges and my interest rate went up over 20%. I was on the phone for a long time last night arguing my case to two different people. In the end, they gave me my promotional interest rate back, but would not waive the late fees or finance charges. I am thoroughly disgusted.
