Neighbor Bill wins the prize for fastest Christmas tear-down. His christmas tree was on the curb last night for collection this morning.

It's been a rough week. On Tuesday Dominic started coughing like a seal and developed a fever. I stayed home with him on Wednesday. Justin watched him Thursday morning and I left work early to take over for the afternoon. Dominic's fever reached 103.2 so I rushed him to the doctor where he was diagnosed with a respiratory infection and a minor ear infection. He was given a prescription for a 10-day cycle of antibiotics and I was told to alternate Tylenol and Motrin for the fever. His fever peaked at 103.9 before I was able to bring it back down to a more reasonable level (these are under-the-arm temperatures which means his actual temperature is one degree higher). Scary. He hasn't eaten a whole meal in a week and last night was the first night he's actually slept. Which means last night was the first night in a week that I have slept. I got more sleep this time last year. I have developed a sore throat and cough, but no fever so I'm doing better than Dominic. Christmas was not much fun. Dominic was in a rotten mood for most of it. But he has learned to wink and that's hilarious. He concentrates so hard to close one eye without closing the other.

Justin got me an MP3 player and some pajamas (yay!) and I got him an XBox 360.
