Aug. 22nd, 2005 01:50 pmJustin and his dad got Dominic's room painted. It's a nice, dusty yellow now. I stopped by at about 1:30 in the afternoon and the afternoon sunlight was just beginning to peek through the windows. It's awfully pretty!
I was pretty sure I had other stuff to update you all on, but now I can't remember what I wanted to say.
I was driving behind a van used to transport hospital patients and I noticed a bumper sticker on it that said, "This van doesn't illegally park in handicap spaces." It also had the handicap icon printed on it. I thought it was nice of them not to do that, but then I noticed a sign in the back window that said, "Extra space required to move patients in and out of vehicle." It also had the handicap icon on it. Then I noticed the little handicap icon on the license plate. It made me wonder how many phone calls they got from people complaining that the van was in a handicap spot.
I had to stop at a red light and wait for a train to pass and somehow I lost track of the van. But then it pulled up behind me. Which was odd because I didn't pass it. But then another one passed by going the opposite direction. I'd never noticed these vans before. Then three all at once.
Boring story... sorry.
