Aug. 4th, 2005 09:07 amThe words "punk" and "pop" really don't belong together. But I can't help but like music labelled punk-pop. And I don't understand why I should feel even mildly ashamed about it. But here we are. The lead singer from My Chemical Romance really knows how to work his makeup. That's the most artfully applied eyeliner since Johnny Depp in Pirates of the Caribbean.
Luke called the other night and it was very nice. I love out of the blue phone calls from old friends. Luke doesn't think that Buffy was one of the best shows ever on television, but I don't think he's actually seen an episode, either. So if you run into Luke on the street, be sure to kidnap him and force him to watch "Hush." Oh, and if you run into Ken please let him know that his long-distance friends worry about him when he's out of touch for so long.
And just a piece of advice for those of you who may have to deal with a pregnant lady sometime in the future. When said pregnant lady is tired, frustrated, overwhelmed, and crying the correct thing to do is to hug her then take over the task which is making her so frustrated and overwhelmed. The incorrect thing to do is get pissy and say, "Go sit down and I'll just make something for myself." Seriously. Justin almost lost an eye.
