I think I'm finally ready for the wedding. I got all the table top decorations (vases, flower petals, ribbons) and thank you cards. I also got other things I needed to take care of before I left like kitty litter (I'm trying S'wheat Scoop, but I don't think Sabby likes it much), Nature's Miracle, and extra pet dishes. I also bought a shower gift for Michelle. I've got all my stuff here at work to ship out today to Amanda's house.

The dress fits.

I am not a nosey person. But when I see or hear my name, my interest is immediately piqued.

Cathy was (still is) waiting for a phone call, but wanted to heat up her lunch so she asked me to watch her phone for her. I went over and sat at her desk. I didn't have anything to do so I'm just looking around at her photographs (I didn't touch anything) when I see an envelope with my name on it. Cathy frequently reuses envelopes so I figured it was an old one of mine I'd given her. Only I don't recognize it. I looked closer and there's a figure on it, $107.36. Underneath that number there's some math and people's names. She's taken up a collection. Sweet. :) But I don't want her to think she's ruined the surprise by not covering it up when she asked me to sit at her desk. So I found a piece of paper and moved it just so it covered up the writing. She will think she's the one who put it there (believe me). Here I am thinking I'm such a great person for not pointing out that I know they did that when I see my name on her calendar. I figure it's just denoting the time when I won't be in the office. Nope. It says, "Annissa's shower." It's scheduled for 9:30 tomorrow morning. Neat! I really wish it had remained a surprise, though. I really love surprises.
