Sep. 30th, 2003 08:45 amYesterday was rainy so I didn't want to wear my comfy high-heeled open toed shoes to work. So instead I pulled out my uncomfy high-heeled closed toe shoes. I should've known better. They kill my feet. Usually, that doesn't bother me because I tend to go for looks instead of comfort and these uncomfy shoes are the height of fashion. But they went too far! There's no arch support and they have no give. It's like wearing blocks of wood on your feet. And when I walk on non-carpeted parts of the office I feel the vibrations all the way to my knees. When I wear heels I tend to walk on my toes. It's more comfortable that way, but these heels are so high that even when I tiptoe, my heels still hit the floor first. So I'm walking back to my apartment after work yesterday and cringing with every step, but I catch a glimpse of myself in a window and I'm like, "Damn those shoes are cute!" I'm wearing comfy low heel, closed toe shoes today. My feet *still* hurt.
That's so messed up.
