Lots of idiots on the road this morning. One guy who pulled out of a parking lot and idled crosswise in a lane of oncoming traffic waiting for cross-traffic to clear. One guy who stopped in the middle of an intersection. And one guy who ran a red-light. When these things happen so much in a 6-8 minute drive I have to wonder if maybe I'm the idiot. But I've thought about it and decided I'm not. :)

I've contacted Ken's brother and asked if he's heard from him. I don't know if I'll get a response since I found the email address on the internet. How many Michael-Paul [Lastname]s are there in Washington, though?

Steve's last day is today. He wrote stars to everyone in the office. Mine says, "Thanks for being pregnant." I think I officially have the best star ever.

Yesterday, on my way back from work in Moscow, I was going 35, like the construction zone told me.

You know those signs that you think are so stupid, like "Do not pass! No passing zone!" at a solid yellow line, or "Keep right of island"? And you're thinking, "Yeah, someone's going to keep left of the island, heehee, what a stupid sign!"

Well, a guy in a truck decided that, since we weren't on gravel anymore, he should be allowed to go 60. So he passed me. Through and island. Then, two other people decided that somehow this was a good idea (?) and also passed me. Through the island. Well, to be more exact, one passed me through the island, the other passed me through the double yellow lines after the island. Even though there was a passing lane a half mile ahead, and it went back to 60 a mile ahead.

Which just left me going "How can people be so STUPID?!"

And that's an awesome star :D
