Kindergarten Achievement Unlocked!

I came into work late today so I could be there when Justin dropped off Dominic this morning. As Dominic climbed into the car, he explained that he would prefer it if we stayed in the car and did not walk him to the school, and we agreed. When we got to the school, Dominic gave us each a hug and a kiss, then hopped out and walked towards the main entrance. The closer he got, the slower he walked. There were a bunch of older kids standing outside the door. He mingled with the kids for a minute, took one step over the threshold, looked back towards us, then went inside to find his class.
I swear I wasn't emotional at all until I couldn't see him anymore.
