annissamazing: Ten's red Chucks (camping)
This morning at roughly 3:30 a.m. my left calf began to cramp up. It woke me up and I tried to stretch it out to ease the cramping. My leg wouldn't bend and the cramping got worse. So I tried to stretch it out by pulling my foot up with my hand (the days of pulling my foot over my head are long gone). That didn't work and it was only getting worse and more painful. I tried to get out of bed. Getting out of bed right now means I have to move the body pillow out of the way, scootch over until I can get my legs off the bed, sit up, then stand. I was in a lot of pain by this point, but managed to do it in about 5-10 seconds saying "ow ow ow ow ow" quietly the whole time. I tried to stand, but my leg was so cramped up that the muscle didn't budge when I put weight on it and I lost my balance. I fell pretty hard. By this time the pain in my leg was excruciating, my leg was locked up tighter than a prison, and I was stuck on the floor because I'm too pregnant to stand up from a sitting position so low even when I have two working legs. Justin heard me fall and it woke him up. I think it freaked him out pretty bad when he could hear me crying but I wasn't in the bed next to him. He started yelling at me to calm down. "Calm down Annissa! Calm down!" (By the way, "calm down" is not the right thing to yell in this situation.) Finally I was able to say, "I'm calm but I'm in a lot of pain!" He got up and turned on the light (a process that seemed to take hours) and the cramp in my leg released. Justin helped me up off the floor and I got cleaned up and stretched my leg out for a few minutes. It's still sore this morning.

I talked to HR yesterday about what Kevin told me. They won't do anything about it. I need to tell Kevin to not tell me these things unless he or whoever told him is willing to document it so I can sue. It makes no sense otherwise. I talked to my boss about it too. He told me to remember that there are only two people in the company who can fire me and neither one of them is named Diane.

I'm going to a birthing class this afternoon. I was asked to bring a pillow and blanket with me. As I was leaving the apartment this morning, I had them in my arms. I shut the door and started to lock it when I noticed some movement out of the corner of my eye. It was Sabby walking down the hall. He took advantage of the fact I couldn't see very well because of the stuff in my arms. This time he seemed to have a destination in mind because he wasn't stopping to sniff anything along the way. I told him it wasn't funny anymore and put him back inside.
