(no subject)

I just had my first doctor's appointment. I'm quite a bit further along that I thought. I thought I was at 6-7 weeks but I'm actually closer to 10. The midwife thinks I may be further along than that. She was able to pick up the baby's heartbeat so we could listen to it. Very cool. :)

I go in next Tuesday for an ultrasound which will tell us exactly how far along I really am. I also have to take blood and glucose tests. They gave me a bottle of orange sugar drink to drink an hour before they draw my blood.
