(no subject)

I found another snail yesterday. Scooped him out. By this morning my Pleco had eaten all the algae on my plants. Even the hair and string algae up near the light. Now I have beautiful green plants again. I should buy more. I have this wide open spot near the front left side that I had allotted for crypts. But they melted and haven't all come back. So I have some scraggly crypt growth, but not a whole lot more. Actually, I need to up the lighting in my tank, but I'm still not sure how to do it. The All Wet Thumb Community has been good, but the answer I got doesn't really address my question. I tried again. Maybe it did address my question and I'm just too dense to understand what he was saying. Man...new hoods are expensive.
