Jan. 12th, 2004 08:25 amI had a dream that Ken moved into my apartment complex, but into the other building. And he had this really creepy machine that I didn't like at all and that involved a human dealing out metal cards. Ken, get rid of that machine! It's not natural!
The fire alarm went off last night while I was showering. It's frickin' freezing here. So I threw on some clothes, grabbed a blanket to wrap up the cat and headed outside with wet hair. It wasn't as bad as I expected it to be because the building shielded us from the wind. Turns out the elevator wasn't working and that sets off the alarm. There was another couple outside and they had two cats (we're only allowed to have one), so I'm wondering if management is lenient on the cat thing. When I get another cat, I don't want to declaw it. Maybe they'll let me cap the claws instead.
