I've got so much to write about! This entry will be very disjointed.
Most importantly... JUSTIN WAS PROMOTED!!! He's now the service manager at the Rolling Acres Goodyear store. This means a generous raise and increase in bonus. Bonuses top out at $4,000 per month, though Justin was very clear that he'll never make that. Still, we're working hard at paying down that credit card debt. And then I'll get a new car! Woot!
My company picnic was Saturday. Justin had to work so I took Dominic. It was fun and the food was good. There was a playground and Dominic made dirt angels. Then he ate dirt. He didn't care much for how it tasted so he smeared it all over his face instead. He took a few swings at the pinata and ran around like a little madman. Then he conked out for 2 and a half hours.
Denise and I went to the mall on Sunday to get some things for her wedding. Dominic stayed home with Justin. We ended up running around like a couple of teenagers for hours. We followed every whim. We ended the day getting impromtu pedicures. I've never had one before, but I am totally doing it again! I've never experienced anything so relaxing in my life. Sitting in a massage chair, getting a warm foot bath, foot massage, nail color. Plus we had just had pina colada juliuses and soft warm pretzels.
Last night I won the Eddie Van Halen award on Guitar Hero II (500 consecutive notes).
Man, what a great weekend.
